Located in Corvallis across Oak Creek on the Campus Way bike path. This historic bridge is open to foot and bicycle traffic only.
Park at the Benton County Fairgrounds and follow the Campus West footpath east to the bridge.
If you liked The Bridges Of Madison County (or even if ya didn't) you'll like visiting Irish Bend covered bridge. It is wonderful place to visit and so peaceful out there. It's on the campus of Oregon State but you'd never know it. Lots of trees in the area and a nearby creek, too. The road there is paved so it makes for a comfortable bicycle ride or small hike. I recommend that people bring their own water supply as there are no fountains in the area. Also, bring a camera you'll want to take pictures of the sights along the way in addition to the bridge.
