Birdwatching

Bird-2_small

One of the biggest activities in Oregon is birdwatching. I decided to do a little research about it before writing this and apparently there are over 465 species of the total 800 species in the U.S that are located in Oregon. Corvallis boasts 206 of them. This is mostly due to three wildlife refugees, which are Ankeny, Baskett Slough, and William Finley. There is a great website for Oregon Birding in General if you are into this kind of thing also www.oregonbirding.org
