Yummy Marionberry Scone
I stopped by Taylor Street Ovens today on the way to work. It's an often-overlooked Corvallis classic; It's located in a neat old building on 9th Street and is the only place to get a fresh treat in that part of town.
Anyway, the marionberry scone was delicious and quite a deal at only $1.50. Sandwiches, salads, beverages, cookies, and other baked goods are also available.
I appreciate that Taylor Street Ovens employs individuals with disabilities - it's an example of how we can, in fact, integrate everyone into society instead of segmenting ourselves artificially into categories.
