i love Fishermen's Wharf, they almost always have fresh crab, they cook it everyday or you can pick your own and they'll cook and clean it for you right there. They even have picnic benches in the back and they'll bring you butter and some crab crackers if you want to eat it there.
Chuck's Seafood is usually the place where tourists go as its the first place you see, but for crab, you have to go to Fishermen's Wharf; its usually a little cheaper, fresher, and they almost never run out. Chuck's Seafood is good too, especially for oysters; but for crab, it has to be Fishermen's Wharf.
When you cross the bridge to Charleston, turn right at Chuck's seafood and follow the signs to the docks. Its on Boat Basin Drive, Dock D.
